This annual event is a great opportunity for alumni, parents and friends to enjoy a fun day with some friendly competition, good food and drink all in support of Riordan's athletic facilities. To date we have raised more than $1.7 million of the $2.4 million needed to renovate Riordan's field. With plans to break ground in the spring of 2019, your support of this year's golf tournament will help us get there.

We consider the field our biggest classroom, and in its current state, the field does not meet the needs of our students. Deferred maintenance has created an uneven playing surface, and the field is not playable during wet conditions. The last varsity home football game was held on the field in fall of 2014.

A new turf field will provide a year-round facility for practices, games, marching band rehearsals, PE classes, and leisure use. For a young man, the lessons learned on an athletic field will impact him for a lifetime. The field is truly Riordan’s biggest classroom.
