The Purple & Gold Gala is Archbishop Riordan High School's largest fundraiser and all proceeds support tuition assistance. Riordan is proud to provide more than 60% of our students with financial aid, and by supporting the 2020 Gala, you will help ensure that a Riordan education is available to the future generations of Crusaders.

This year, our Fund-A-Need will support the Tyrone L. McGraw Scholarship. A graduate of Riordan’s class of 2006, Tyrone was an exceptional student-athlete. His accomplishments at Riordan granted him a full scholarship to Stanford University where he excelled academically, ran track, and played football. Tyrone faced many challenges in life but rose above them time after time. Thankful for the many opportunities that he received, Tyrone chose to give back by pursuing a life in public service as a legislative staff member at the California State Capitol, an intern at the White House, and a teacher. Tyrone passed away in 2017 at the age of 29 after a courageous three-year battle against cancer. The Tyrone L. McGraw Scholarship was established in his honor to uphold his mission of serving the underserved.
